Tip any wallet, X handle or pump.fun creator.
Type who you want to tip, pick an amount and sign once in Phantom. The SOL goes straight to their wallet in a single transfer. TIPJAR never holds it.
- 1. One transfer. Your wallet pays theirs directly, with a memo naming the jar.
- 2. Checked on chain. Every tip below was read back from Solana before it was listed.
- 3. No custody. There is no TIPJAR wallet in the middle and nothing to withdraw.
@jar
Make a jar people can tip.
Pick a short name and your page lives at /@name. Tips sent there land in the wallet that signed for it.
- 1. A message, not a transaction. Signing proves you own the wallet. No SOL moves and there is no fee.
- 2. First signer keeps the name. The same wallet can sign again to change the X handle or note.
- 3. Link your X handle. Then anyone can tip @yourhandle and it reaches your jar.
Every tip is read back from Solana.
Paste a transaction signature. TIPJAR fetches it from mainnet and checks it before listing it. The browser's word counts for nothing.
- 1. Confirmed. The transaction landed and did not fail.
- 2. Right receiver. The SOL went to the wallet behind the jar named in the memo.
- 3. Right memo. It carries tipjar:<jar>, so plain transfers are not counted.

How a tip moves.
There's no deposit, no balance and no withdraw button. One Solana transaction carries the SOL from your wallet to theirs, and the memo inside it says which jar it was for.

Who you can tip.
Paste any of these into the To field. TIPJAR works out the wallet behind it and shows it to you before you sign.

These totals are summed from tips TIPJAR has read back from Solana. Nothing is estimated and nothing is seeded.

Claim a jar with one signed message. No SOL moves to make it, and every tip sent there lands in the wallet that signed.
Checked, not trusted.
A tip is listed only after the server fetches the transaction from mainnet and it passes three checks. What your browser says doesn't count.
- 1ConfirmedThe transaction landed on Solana and did not fail.
- 2Right receiverThe SOL reached the wallet behind the jar named in the memo.
- 3Right memoIt carries tipjar:<jar>, so a plain transfer isn't counted as a tip.
Questions.
Does TIPJAR hold my SOL?
No. The tip is one transfer from your wallet to theirs. There is no TIPJAR wallet in between and nothing to withdraw.
Is there a fee?
Solana's network fee is about 0.000005 SOL. If a TIPJAR fee is turned on, it goes in the same transaction and the exact split is shown before you sign.
Can a tip be refunded?
No. Solana transfers are final, so check the recipient TIPJAR shows you before you sign.
How does tipping an X handle work?
The owner of the handle makes a jar and links the handle by signing with their wallet. Until they do, TIPJAR says so and you can tip their wallet or coin instead.
What does making a jar cost?
Nothing. You sign a plain text message in Phantom. It is not a transaction, so no SOL moves.
What gets stored?
For each tip: the signature, jar, both wallets, the amount, the memo message and the block time. All of it is already public on Solana.
